Important Information

The Stables is a semi-detached property and sits within a small, rural development of three other converted properties which sit in a U configuration. These belong to the same owner and are also available for holiday let. It is important to note that the decking area and garden ground of Stables overlook the access and parking areas of the adjoining Smiddy and Granary. There are open fields to the front and rear of the development, although the views are predominantly to the side aspect for this property. Please be aware that this development also sits adjacent to a working farm and as such, depending on the season, there may be associated noise as one would expect from an arable & livestock farm. If you have any concerns, please call us to discuss.

Scottish short-term lets licence number: SB00522F. The current EPC rating for this property is band A, a copy of the certificate can be found here.

The Little Things We Love

The interior was designed by Michael Vee. The high quality furnishings throughout the property create a very stylish yet homely look.

Don't take our word for it...

Just to say that we had a delightful stay at the Stables, Melrose. Beautifully furnished, warm and welcoming (snowing when we arrived), a really super conversion. Bottle of fizz was a bonus too. Full marks.

Don't take our word for it...

We had a great time at Stables cottage. The decor and facilities were up to the high standard I've come to expect with your cottages and the location was really nice. Looking forward to booking another getaway sometime soon!

Don't take our word for it...

Thank you Crabtree & Crabtree for making it easy for us to book a last minute holiday in the Borders. They were very helpful and made the whole process of booking very easy. The accommodation was as expected from Crabtree & Crabtree,. Stables was as described and was as comfortable as promised. I will certainly be using Crabtree & Crabtree in the future,as the quality and comfort of their properties is exceptional. Thanks again.
Taylor family, 1st April 2024

Don't take our word for it...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already talking about a re-visiting the area. The decor of the house was fantastic but what we appreciated in particular was the ability to search for dog-friendly properties on the Crabtree & Crabtree site, and the provision of a secure garden for our dog - both things that were major selling points for us.
