Reviving Scotch Whisky Tradition in the Scottish Borders

The Borders Distillery, the first to craft Scotch whisky in the Scottish Borders since 1837, is committed to local produce and sustainable practices. Situated in the heart of the region, the distillery collaborates with nearby farms to transform Borders Barley into Kerr’s Gin, Puffing Billy Vodka, and Workshop Series Whisky Blends.

Opened in 2018, The Borders Distillery was established by industry veterans with a vision to restore whisky production to its historical roots. Each product is crafted using malted barley grown by local farmers, reflecting a genuine seed-to-spirit philosophy.
