The Little Things We Love

The unlimited supply of logs means you can enjoy toasty days in front of the wood burner - perfect for those weekend out-of-season escapes.

Don't take our word for it...

A great cottage in an ideal location to explore the area. There is so much to see and do. We had a great time!
Mr Curran, 3rd April 2025

Don't take our word for it...

The cottage sits in a beautiful, peaceful, quiet area with amazing dark skies and so many stars. The log burner kept us cosy and warm in the cold evenings. Thank you to the owners, who were very attentive and kind hosts.
Mr and Ms Knowles, 4th March 2025

Don't take our word for it...

Lovely cottage in a very quiet location but is a great base for visiting all the places of interest in the Scottish borders and around. The cottage had everything we needed and the hosts make you feel welcome and at home, and whilst they are on site they never interfere and allow you to enjoy your holiday in peace. Would definitely recommend this cottage.
Mr Barnes, 15th October 2024

Don't take our word for it...

Firstly what a wonderful time we had during our stay at Heritage Cottage. I cannot thank the owners enough for letting us stay in their cottage and for all the little touches. They both certainly go the extra mile. We have rented many properties home and abroad and they are in our top three. I also want to thank the staff at Crabtree and Crabtree. Excellent service and advice. Your company is one I would definitely use and recommend in the future.
Beswick family, 2nd April 2024

Don't take our word for it...

Heritage Cottage was wonderful up to every last detail. Our hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. I would certainly recommend Heritage Cottage to our friends. A 10 from us.
Koning family, 2nd April 2024

Don't take our word for it...

Just to say we had a fabulous week in Heritage Cottage. The owners were so welcoming in every way. The cottage was so comfortable and warm. All the little extras were very appreciated and a wonderful welcome basket much enjoyed. A stunning location too for those that like the quiet and a beautiful autumn countryside. This is a hidden gem! Sad to leave!
Mrs Richardson, 2nd April 2024

Don't take our word for it...

Heritage Cottage is simply fantastic! Perfect size for two adults and two dogs. The hosts were most gracious from the outset, greeting us on arrival, showing us round and making sure the log burner was roaring away making the place lovely & cosy. The welcome pack was the best we've experienced with the homemade flapjacks and bottle of single malt to enjoy a particular highlight! Nearby fields and woodland gave the dogs a nice mile round trip to start each day off too. Even with the sunshine we were unusually blessed with at this time of year it wasn't quite warm enough to enjoy the beautiful outdoor terrace but that'll keep for next time, and I'm sure there will be. Thanks again.
Mr Scorer, 2nd April 2024

Don't take our word for it...

We had a great stay at Heritage Cottage. The owners were lovely and had the log burner started and a lovely welcome hamper for us when we arrived! We enjoyed exploring the local area and plan to be back in the near future!
