Gelato made with love on a Northumberland farm, gluten-free and vegan. The Oat Kitchen specialises in creating delightful oat-based treats, including gelato, cookies, brownies, and protein bites. Using the best local ingredients, their mission is to create extraordinary flavours that cater to all dietary needs.
Located on the picturesque Holy Island of Lindisfarne, The Oat Kitchen’s scoop shop, Pilgrims Gelato, is a family-run affair. Started by Charlotte in 2011 and later joined by her cousin Farah, they perfected their gelato recipe in Italy, bringing back their passion and expertise. The shop offers a range of vegan gelato, sorbets, and fudge, with recyclable ice-cream tins available for refills.
Visitors are encouraged to spend a day on Holy Island, enjoying the scenic beauty and delicious offerings of The Oat Kitchen. Remember to check tide times before visiting.
