The Cramlington Forager (various locations)
A Taste of the Wild: Foraging in Northumberland
The Cramlington Forager brings the art of wild food gathering to urban and rural landscapes alike, proving that nature’s larder is never far away. Foraging offers a unique way to engage with the seasons, uncovering edible plants, fruits, fungi, and flowers hidden in the everyday landscape.
Guided walks run from March to October across the North-East, each tailored to the season and surroundings. Participants gain insight into identifying, harvesting, and using wild ingredients safely and sustainably. Whether in woodlands, hedgerows, or unexpected urban spaces, foraging reveals a new way to connect with nature through the flavours it provides.
