A stylish beach house in the charming coastal town of Tynemouth, perfectly positioned opposite Longsands beach and ideal for memorable seaside adventures.

Perched above the sweeping Tynemouth Longsands, Percy Park House is a well-presented Victorian terrace built in the late 19th century. Originally designed as a grand family residence with its uninterrupted sea views and spacious interiors, it is now perfectly suited for a sophisticated coastal getaway.

Thoughtfully transformed to honour the building’s Victorian proportions while introducing a contemporary aesthetic, Percy Park House is a sizeable five-bedroom property perfect for families, friends and couples. Each room, from the refined entrance hallway to the generous open plan living space and immaculately presented bedrooms, exude warmth and sophistication. High-quality finishes combined with statement pieces from Pooky, Soho Home and Heathfield add character and style to the space.

The light-filled hallway sets the tone on arrival, where an impressive staircase rises to a further two floors, and an elegantly arched window creates an architectural focal point. From here, you’ll find the open plan living space with views towards the Grand Hotel and surrounding coastline. Flooded with natural light from the expansive bay windows, here you can unwind in a truly elegant setting or share stories over a glass of wine.

The fully equipped kitchen is a culinary enthusiast’s dream featuring grey shaker cabinetry, a sociable island unit with pendant lighting and a dining table comfortably seating up to eight guests. A wooden herringbone floor is beautifully complimented by soaring ceilings and detailed cornicing.

Across all five bedrooms, comfort is front of mind. Centred around a statement four-poster bed, the master bedroom is perfect for relaxation while elsewhere a charming, crafted bunk room adds a playful dimension for children without skimping on style. With thoughtfully chosen linens and high-quality mattresses throughout, each bedroom offers a sumptuous spot to rest your head after adventures on the coast.

Wonderfully suited to memorable family stays, Percy Park House is fully equipped for children of all ages, offering a variety of toys to keep your little ones entertained. A selection of books can also be found in the children’s library, perfect for storytelling and cosy evenings together.

With no shortage of things to see and do nearby, guests of Percy Park House can enjoy easy access to the very best of Tynemouth. Visit the infamous Longsands beach, try a spot of surfing, explore the historic ruins of Tynemouth Priory and Castle or meet the resident seals before indulging in the area’s renowned fish and chips.
