A Legacy of Swiss Craftsmanship in Yorkshire
Founded in 1919 by Swiss chocolatier Frederick Belmont, Bettys has become a cherished name in Yorkshire, blending Swiss precision with British tradition. From humble beginnings in Harrogate, Belmont’s passion for fine confectionery and baking laid the foundation for what is now an iconic tearoom and bakery known for its exquisite cakes, chocolates, and afternoon teas.
Bettys Cookery School continues this tradition, offering hands-on courses in artisan breadmaking, pastry skills, and classic dishes. With expert tutors, high-quality ingredients, and a fully equipped kitchen, participants can refine their skills while enjoying a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Each course includes refreshments, a two-course lunch, and the opportunity to take home beautifully crafted creations.
