Situated on the eastern edge of Northumberland National Park, Hepple’s estate and distillery are where England’s purest waters, ancient juniper, and wild winds converge. The rugged landscape stretches across heather-covered moors, grasslands, stone walls, babbling brooks, and pine forests, all leading to a historic stone farmhouse transformed into a distillery. Wild ponies, Highland cows, and black-haired pigs roam the estate, aiding in the natural regeneration of wild plants through the Wilding Programme. This dedication to environmental sustainability preserves the unique character of Hepple, both in its landscape and its spirits.
Hepple’s innovative Triple Distillation Method, coupled with state-of-the-art equipment, captures flavours that traditional distilling methods miss.
