A Hub of Art and Community

Dukes of West Barns began its journey in Autumn 2022 when Chris, Robyn, and Sophie Sleigh envisioned a vibrant space combining a fine art gallery, workshop, and café. Enchanted by the historic charm of the former West Barns Inn, the family embraced the challenge of restoring it to its traditional splendour. Their efforts have transformed the site into a unique venue reflecting both creativity and community spirit.

The establishment now features Dukes Café Bistro, renowned for its high-quality local produce in a welcoming setting. The Dukes Fine Art Gallery offers a diverse range of Scottish contemporary art, while the artist studios provide dynamic spaces for creators. A dedicated area for workshops and classes further enriches the offerings, creating a cultural and artistic hub for both locals and visitors.
