A narrow-gauge railway circles a quiet lake, while foot-golf, wild den-building corners and quirky features like a dinosaur maze add layers of quiet surprise. The on-site distillery—powered by wood and unique in the UK—produces pure lavender oil during the summer harvest, with a seasonal shop offering a range inspired by the surrounding Wolds. A tearoom nestled among the gardens serves handmade treats, including fragrant lavender scones. Dogs are welcome, and the atmosphere is slow-paced, relaxed, and family-friendly.
