Partisan blends the character of a local café with the soul of a creative space, offering thoughtful food and a rich connection to art and the surrounding landscape. Housed in a charming building on one of York’s most historic streets, it brings together seasonally inspired menus and regularly rotating exhibitions from both emerging and established artists.
The kitchen is rooted in a deep relationship with the land, drawing on produce grown at a nearby arable farm on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. From daily specials to handmade cakes and freshly baked tarts, everything is crafted with care and a quiet celebration of the everyday.
