The Flodden Rideout takes place on 6 August 2026 and it is one of the most evocative events of Coldstream Civic Week. It recreates the historic ride to Flodden Field on horseback.

Rooted in centuries-old tradition, this powerful procession honours the town’s history and community spirit. Visitors line the streets to watch riders in ceremonial dress pass through Coldstream before continuing into the surrounding countryside.

It’s an unforgettable glimpse into the heritage of the Scottish Borders.
