The Jethart Callants Festival fills Jedburgh with colour, music and equestrian tradition each summer continuing a tradition that dates back centuries.

A highlight of the week is the Festival Day rideout, held on 10 July 2026, when mounted riders gather to follow historic routes through the surrounding countryside.

Crowds line the streets to watch the procession depart and return, celebrating a proud Borders custom that honours the town’s history and brings the community together in spirited fashion.
