Yorkshire Traditions at Their Finest

Dating back over 700 years, Masham Sheep Fair remains a cornerstone of the agricultural year with this year’s fair held from 26-27 September 2026. Held every autumn, the fair brings thousands to the town for livestock sales, market stalls, local food and a lively programme of rural events.

There is something for the whole family with sheep racing, sheep dog demonstrations, Morris dancers, art exhibitions, a small children’s fair and so much more. It’s a true celebration of Dales farming culture, busy, characterful and wonderfully authentic.
