For star-gazing and jolly glamping, take time to re-discover the simpler things in life in this idyllic rural hideaway filled with rustic country charm.

Accommodating up to four guests, Cow Parsley makes clever use of space with one 4'6" double bed with a full size single bunk bed above, and seating which converts to another single bed (3’ x 6’) when required. Creative storage solutions ensure that every area is well utilised.

The hut features a small galley kitchen area with small larder, an electric two ring hob, a microwave combination oven, under-counter fridge, toaster, kettle, and a DAB radio.

There is also a breakfast bar dining space for up to four guests. Just off the kitchen is a small bathroom with electric shower, basin and WC.

For the cooler months the hut is super-insulated and has electric tubular heating and an electric ‘real flame effect’ stove.

Guests can also hire Colin, a cutesy retro caravan (subject to availability) where the younger members of the family can have their own little mini adventure - a fun den for day use but set-up for sleeping capacity too!

Cow Parsley sits in a paddock alongside three further shepherd's huts, Foxglove, Teasel and Berrington Beach Hut, each sleeping up to four guests which are ideal for guests who wish to holiday together. Foxglove is also adapted for guests who are mobility impaired.

The Little Things We Love

Enjoy a hot cuppa and relax in the great outdoors.

Don't take our word for it...

We’ve had the most wonderful few days with our little dog Betty staying in Cow Parsley shepherds hut for our wedding anniversary. Everything about the property was perfect. It was beautifully and tastefully decorated and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The owner, was super friendly and helpful and even decorated the hut with balloons and a banner for our anniversary, which made it extra special. Cow Parsley is in great location for just a bit of peace and quiet admiring the gorgeous view or for exploring the many places of interest in the area. A must for any seafood lovers is a visit to Seahouses and the fantastic Swallowfish smokery where we ordered a seafood platter for two which included a whole lobster. A real treat for our special occasion. They also do an amazing kipper sandwich which we ate on a bench overlooking the harbour. Seal watching on Holy Island was another must see on our list and lots of great and varied walks. I would not hesitate to recommend Cow Parsley to family and friends and will definitely return.

Absolutely fantastic could not have asked for such a friendly place to be. The hut was fantastic - very clean, very quirky, brilliant in every way. Will definitely be going back there again - a big thanks to the owner for looking after us.

Don't take our word for it...

We just wanted to let you know what a lovely time we had at your Shepherd’s Huts. We stayed in both Foxglove and Cow Parsley during our stay and were so impressed with the thoughtful layout in both huts, the lovely décor and how well equipped the huts are. Our hosts were very welcoming, accommodating and attentive. Our girls had a fantastic time sleeping in Colin the Caravan for two nights. Apparently the “best and cosiest night’s sleep" they have ever had.
