The Braw Lads Gathering Ceremonial Ride Out
This year’s Braw Lads Gathering Ceremonial Ride Out will be on 27 June in Galashiels. It is one of the Borders’ great riding events held each summer.
The week-long celebration features mounted ride-outs, parades, bands and community events culminating in the crowning of the Braw Lad and Braw Lass.
With hundreds lining the streets and riders gathering in colourful pageantry, the festival reflects centuries of Borders history and offers a spirited celebration of Galashiels’ proud traditions.
