A taste of Northumberland

NORTHUMBERLAND

From pasture-fed beef slowly reared in heathery hills to wild game, hand cured fish and decadently creamy cheeses, Northumberland is home to some of the best produce in the UK. Nestled in the stunning countryside between the borders of Northumberland and Cumbria, the lauded gastropub The Kirkstyle Inn and Sportman’s Rest benefits from this abundance of superb local produce.

Over the course of the evening, you’ll enjoy a menu designed for you from a selection of seasonal dishes, while learning about the provenance of the ingredients. You’ll also be taken through each wine pairing by the Kirkstyle’s sommelier covering why it was chosen and how its aroma, structure and individual characteristics complement each dish.
