Innerleithen St Ronan’s Border Games
From 11 – 18 July 2026, the St Ronan’s Border Games take place in Innerleithen and are the oldest organised sports meeting in Scotland. The games are part of a week long festival with traditional games, races and parades bringing the community together.
The town’s Patron Saint, St. Ronan is celebrated and is central to the festivities known as the Cleikum Ceremonies.
With a week of lively gatherings and traditions passed down through generations, the games offer a warm glimpse into the enduring character of Borders festival culture.
