"Woodman’s looked just what we were looking for and it was important to us that it was dog friendly. The owners were lovely, nothing was too much trouble and we knew from the outset that it really was a dog friendly establishment. They gave us some local knowledge of the area which we appreciated – we also appreciated the surprise chocolate cake, cookies and bottle of wine. Woodman’s was exactly as advertised, modern, bright and clean and it was a sufficient size for two or us and our dog for a week. Facilities offered by the owners were great. We loved the fact that we could leave the back door open and our dog could roam outside if he wanted to without coming to any harm. Even our neighbours commented on his behaviour and how they simply had to take a photo of him because his tail never stopped wagging! We had a lovely week and will be booking again next year because there is still so much we want to explore and Woodman’s gives us a central base in which to do so. We felt Crabtree & Crabtree service was also of very high standard." - Tremain
