"We had a wonderful time at the Woodman's Cottage. When we arrived we were met by our hosts who explained the restrictions due to Covid 19 and gave us a very warm welcome.
The cottage was very tastefully decorated and the furnishings were of a very high quality.
Lovely area to explore with the beautiful towns of Peebles and Melrose on the doorstep, and it is also an excellent walking area."
"Warm welcome with wine and scones. Wonderful weather. Will be recommending Woodman's cottage to family and friends."
Mr & Mrs Knowles"Woodman’s looked just what we were looking for and it was important to us that it was dog friendly. The owners were lovely, nothing was too much trouble and we knew from the outset that it really was a dog friendly establishment. They gave us some local knowledge of the area which we appreciated – we also appreciated the surprise chocolate cake, cookies and bottle of wine. Woodman’s was exactly as advertised, modern, bright and clean and it was a sufficient size for two or us and our dog for a week. Facilities offered by the owners were great. We loved the fact that we could leave the back door open and our dog could roam outside if he wanted to without coming to any harm. Even our neighbours commented on his behaviour and how they simply had to take a photo of him because his tail never stopped wagging! We had a lovely week and will be booking again next year because there is still so much we want to explore and Woodman’s gives us a central base in which to do so. We felt Crabtree & Crabtree service was also of very high standard."
Tremain family"Enjoyed our stay at the Woodmans Cottage, very peaceful and comfortable. Weather great, beautiful scenery as always in the borders, around Kelso and Melrose. The owners helpful and kind, left us some great scones and jam and wine."
Mr & Mrs Pringle"We had lovely holiday at this cottage. We couldn’t fault it in any way. It was very comfortable, well maintained and a perfect base for exploring the area.
Our first experience of the Crabtree & Crabtree service has been a positive one and we will be booking another holiday with you later in the year."
Ms Clitheroe"Such a lovely stay again. Thank you to the owners for making us so welcome. We will be back!"
