Holiday Cottages in Kelso, Jedburgh
and the surrounding area

Luxurious handpicked holiday homes and holiday cottages in Kelso, Jedburgh and beyond. An ideal base for guests fishing on the Tweed & Teviot.

The picturesque Abbey town of Kelso lies at the junction of the Rivers Tweed and Teviot and is a favourite with fishermen. The town’s spacious square is home to a wide range of specialist shops and the graceful five arched bridge over the Tweed was the model for London’s Waterloo Bridge. A visit to Floors Castle, Scotland’s largest inhabited house, should not be missed for its outstanding collections of paintings, furniture and porcelain. The historic Royal Burgh of Jedburgh is located just 10 miles from the English Border and has played a central role in cross Border raids. The magnificent red sandstone Jedburgh Abbey takes centre stage in the town and Mary Queen of Scots House dating back to 1566, is a house where Mary stayed and now tells the story of her tragic life. A browse amongst the independent shops in the colourful renovated buildings of the Market Place and Canongate is recommended.
