Overview

This cosy country cottage offers deceptively spacious accommodation overlooking rolling Borders farmland in the shadow of the Eildon Hills.

Overlooking rolling Borders farmland

The cottage is ideally placed for relaxation or outdoor pursuits, yet close to the picturesque villages of St. Boswells and Melrose where charming country pubs offer plenty of opportunity for long lazy lunches and a fine craft ale. Sitting in a private courtyard, this pretty white-washed cottage benefits from three bedrooms and three bathrooms, offering good flexibility for families or couples looking to holiday together.

On the ground floor is a warm and comfortable sitting room with open fire for lazy days with a good book, along with a ground floor bedroom, separate shower room and a smart shaker-style kitchen with dining space for six.

Upstairs are two well proportioned double bedrooms along with a family bathroom and a separate shower room.

Outside there’s a large shared courtyard with ornamental pond, while a garden to the side of the cottage offers privacy and a wonderful open outlook over grazing farmland.

"Byreman's Cottage was absolutely the perfect place! The inside renovation was beautiful and we so enjoyed cooking in that lovely kitchen, while gazing at the sheep. We also greatly appreciated the starter groceries left for us. Also, the bed was excellent. A sincere thank you to Crabtree & Crabtree, who helped us with this booking, at the very last minute. Byreman's is truly a special property. A perfect vacation."
