Here you can unwind with a sense of close connection to the natural world – whether the first snowdrops of the year are springing into life, the rhododendrons are blooming, or the autumn colours are at their most vibrant. At its heart is the 19th-century walled garden, featuring one of the oldest surviving Mackenzie and Moncur glasshouses which has recently been lovingly restored. The garden is sure to fascinate gardening enthusiasts, boasting traditional vegetable patches, a thriving rose garden, and a famed laburnum arch.
