Shooting Days in Northumberland and Scottish Borders

Enquiry >

For sheer variety alone Northumberland and the Scottish Borders are irresistible to any gun, experienced or otherwise.

We work closely with local estates and landowners to offer a range of bespoke game shooting packages. High, testing pheasants and partridges on the edge of the Cheviots, grouse on the Lammermuirs, lowland farmland where novice shots can get their eye in and fun knock-about days for everyone on local estates; with over 60,000 acres of spectacular countryside to choose from we can tailor shoot days to suit everyone.

We feel shooting is best enjoyed in a relaxed and friendly environment and we handpick shoots for the quality of the sport rather than the size of the bag. Indeed, many of the shoots we offer are not available on the 'open market' so we can keep things intimate, rather than large and commercial. That said, for smaller parties or single guns wanting a day's driven shooting, we can also organise collective driven days made up of individual guns.

If roe deer stalking is your bag, we can give you year round access to some of the best in the area. It's not all feather and fur either. There are two excellent clay pigeon shooting grounds in the area where guests can sharpen up or simply have some fun.

We have extensive knowledge of local shoots and work closely with local estates and landowners to offer the best possible shooting for all budgets and abilities.

Driven days can be arranged to accommodate most requirements from a double gun day with testing high birds to a fun 'farm shoot' with a more modest bag.

For upland shooting in August and September, the area has much to offer and either walked-up or driven days can be arranged.

Walked-up, rough or knock-about days are becoming increasingly popular. A mixed bag might include pheasant, partridge, duck, snipe, woodcock, pigeon, teal and grouse and can also include ground game.

There are two clay-shooting grounds in the area, both offering interesting stands and varied set-ups.
