The luxurious Milne Graden Estate Holiday Properties offer something for everyone from cosy gate lodges for two to elegant properties with fabulous entertaining space for families and larger groups. Every little detail is accounted for to ensure that guests get the best from their stay. A breakfast welcome pack is included with every booking and seasonal hampers are included with Easter, Christmas and New Year bookings. Dogs are welcome and all properties have wi fi and Sky TV. Salmon fishing can also be arranged subject to availability.
Easter Sunday lunch offer
Complimentary Easter Sunday lunch with remaining bookings for w/c 1 and 8 April at the Milne Graden Estate Holiday Cottages. Bookings must be made before 29 February 2012. The offer includes the set Sunday lunch menu and a bottle of red or white house wine.
Park End - sleeps 2
A quintessential romantic hideaway furnished in a simple, rustic style in keeping with the beautiful Border’s countryside in which the cottage sits. During the summer, guests can enjoy the large, sunny garden with sunsets over the hills. In the cooler months, with the wood burner lit, a good film and a wee dram, you won’t want to leave!
North Lodge - sleeps 2
The cosy gate lodge has superb views across the Estate's parkland to the Cheviot Hills beyond. Unlike some gate lodges, the accommodation is deceptively spacious. North Lodge is about a five minute walk to the River Tweed, from which there is a super network of riverside walks.
No 1 Sunnyside - sleeps 4
Everything a cottage should be; petit and perfectly formed and furnished in a cosy cottage style. The light and airy ground floor has been opened up to make best use of the space with double aspect views over open fields and the River Tweed.
No 2 Sunnyside - sleeps 4
Charming cottage with fabulous river views - the ground floor bathroom boasts the best vista of any bathroom we know! Outside guests can enjoy amazing 180 degree views of the river from the garden. Look out for the odd deer, otter, kingfisher and the occasional leaping salmon!
Garden House - sleeps 6
Situated in an idyllic position on the banks of the River Tweed with no road or buildings in sight other than the romantic ruins of Twizel Castle. Garden House provides the ideal rural retreat with only the occasional otter, heron and deer to disturb the peace!
School House - sleeps 6
Once the school for the Estate with the former school room providing a wow-factor drawing room with mezzanine level bedroom overhead. Ideal for larger groups booking in conjunction with another Milne Graden property - the dining room can seat up to 18 guests.
Hamilton House - sleeps 6
A classic stone farmhouse perched high on the banks of the River Tweed with magnificent river views. Inside the elegant, spacious interior provides the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. Outside the large garden boasts superb views of the river.
Group bookings at Milne Graden
Hamilton House, School House, No 1 and No 2 Sunnyside make up the tiny hamlet of Sunnyside, set in an idyllic position at the end of a private estate road, high above the banks of the River Tweed. Offering complete privacy, fabulous views and plenty of space for children to play, this charming hamlet is ideal for larger groups holidaying together. The dining area at School House can be re-configured to create an atmospheric dining space for up to 20 guests.
