The River Tweed has a deserved reputation as one of the world's finest salmon rivers and produces more fish caught to the fly than any other river in Britain. Saddler Cottage is ideally located for anyone fishing the bottom and lower Tweed beats between Berwick and Kelso.  There are several prime beats within a ten minute drive from the house including Tillmouth, Lennel and The Lees.  The cottage is also within walking distance of the Till.
