Bedroom

The accommodation comprises one spacious double bedroom with 5' bed, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV and DVD player. 

Bathroom

Adjacent to the bedroom is a bathroom with bath with shower over, WC and basin. 

Sitting room

The charming sitting room has a double sofa and two arm chairs.  There is plenty of indoor entertainment provided including TV with Freeview, DVD, VCR, radio and a selection of books.

Dining room

Leading from the sitting room is a superb ‘book-lined' dining room which seats four.

Kitchen

The fully-equipped kitchen is decorated in traditional Shaker style and is equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, double oven with 4 ring hob, microwave and fridge/freezer.  There is ample cooking equipment, cutlery and crockery provided. Guests receive a complimentary welcome hamper of local goodies on arrival.

Garden and grounds

To the rear of the property is a delightful, sheltered, south-facing garden with superb, uninterrupted views across Flodden Field to the hills beyond.  At the end of the garden is a patio area with table and chairs and a charcoal barbecue.  There is ample parking to the front of the property.

Summerhouse

Situated toward the end of the garden is a charming summerhouse with patio doors, table and chairs, drinks fridge, TV and DVD player.

Drying / boot room

There is a drying room to the rear of the property which also houses the tumble dryer.

Catering and housekeeping

The Cottage can be let on a pure self-catering basis or treat yourselves to a proper rest and book a cook (either full time or for the occasional, special meal) or homemade meals delivered daily to the house.  Alternatively, we offer a food-shopping and wine delivery service.  Daily housekeeping is also available.  Please contact us for further details.
