The interior has been imaginatively furnished by a well-known interior designer to a high standard throughout.  The result is fabulous, with light, spacious rooms furnished in an appealing, contemporary style with guest's enjoyment, relaxation and comfort in mind.  There is ample space provided both inside and out for convivial entertaining whatever the weather.  For wet days and relaxed evenings, there is no shortage of indoor entertainment with two large TVs with Freeview, DVD players, music systems with MP3 interface, AppleMAC (with broadband access) and a Play Station II.  Even the messages on the funky orange and white bathroom tiles remind guests to relax.

The property has three bedrooms, two on the second floor, are accessed via different staircases for maximum privacy.  On the ground floor, a private, self-contained space, The Den, is accessed via the lower deck.  It's a heaven for teenage children or indeed ‘big kids' of any age.  It comprises a bedroom with en-suite bathroom, seating area and array of entertainment including TV with Freeview, DVD player, Play Station II with a selection of games, Apple Mac with broadband, music system with library of CDs and classic, vinyl and a private deck with a fantastic, giant hammock!

Accessed from the first floor living area, a large, south and west facing, wrap-around deck sees the sun all day long and is a delightful spot to watch the sunset over the dunes.  A barbecue and external dining area are provided and the ingenious chiminea provides warmth and ambience on chillier evenings.  There is an additional deck leading from the master bedroom with outside seating and a ground floor deck also with external dining facilities. Watersports and golfing devotees will appreciate the secure utility room for storing wet suits, boards, golf clubs etc.

Camber Sands beach is a two-and-a-half mile stretch of golden sands enclosed by picturesque dunes less than two hours' drive from central London. It is being newly rediscovered as a UK holiday destination of choice and was voted number 9 of the 100 Best Beaches in the World by The Sunday Times Travel Magazine.  The unspoilt beauty of the beach as well as its sheer size have made it a popular location for fashion photo shoots and films including doubling as the Sahara Desert in a 'Carry On' film and as the Dunkirk evacuation beaches in several war epics. At low tide the sea can be as much as half a mile from the dunes, which makes it a popular location for horse-riding and kite-buggying.  The clean and shallow water makes it ideal for children.

With winds coming straight off the sea and from the vast expanse of the Romney Marshes, Camber has become a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts whilst the west winds and shallow sea make it a great place for kite-surfing.  Windsurfing, kitesurfing, water-skiing, wakeboarding and jet skiing are all available locally either from the beach or on a large coastal lake just outside Camber.  There is also sailing on the river Rother 3 miles from Camber.

For swimming, the beach boasts a yellow flag award from the MCS, the highest UK award for water quality standards. Golf lovers are well catered for with an impressive 44 courses within a 30 mile radius, including one right on the sand dunes. Tennis courts and bicycle hire are also available locally. There are many local walks with natural and historical points of interest.

The village of Camber has a couple of pubs including The Dunes café (50 metres from the house), and the award-winning The Place at the Beach Bar and Grill offering a range of delicious dishes made from local, free range and organic ingredients.  The Rye Bay Beach Cafe has also recently opened, offering guests a further dining option within a few minutes stroll of the house. The delightful, medieval town of Rye (4 miles from Camber) also offers an excellent selection of pubs, cafés and restaurants.  Alternatively buy and barbecue your own fresh seafood!
