The River Tweed has a deserved reputation as one of the world's finest salmon rivers and produces more fish caught to the fly than any other river in Britain. Junction House overlooks the famous Junction beat is ideally located for anyone fishing the middle and lower Tweed beats. There are several prime beats within a ten minute drive from the house including Sprouston, Carham, Wark, Birgham and Hendersyde.
There is also an excellent selection of reasonably-priced fishing towards Melrose and on the Teviot, Till and Whiteadder nearby. There is a lockable shed provided for fishing kit or golf clubs and the entrance hall serves as a drying room.
