Join us in our support for Ukraine

Like many, we are deeply shocked and saddened by the desperate events that continue to unfold in Ukraine. With so many innocent people losing their lives, loved ones, families, homes and safety, we’ve felt compelled to do something to help.

Today, we made a donation of £5,000 to help the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. Our donation has been split equally between The British Red Cross in support of the Ukraine Crisis Appeal and UNICEF for their work with the children of Ukraine. This money will help to provide essential services such as food, water, medicine, warm clothing, education and shelter to those whose lives have been impacted and torn apart by the invasion.

If you’re in a position to donate, you can find the details and a little bit about each charity's work below.

The British Red Cross

In response to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, which has seen millions of people leave their homes to flee the violence and to seek shelter in neighbouring countries, metro stations and makeshift bomb shelters, The British Red Cross launched an emergency appeal to help those that desperately need it. Money donated to The Red Cross DEC Ukraine Humanitarian appeal will be used to provide food, clean water, shelter, warm clothing, hygiene parcels and medicine to those impacted by the warfare.

UNICEF

As the fighting in Ukraine continues, more and more of the country's children are killed, wounded, traumatized and affected by the devastating violence. Nowhere is safe and homes, schools, orphanages and hospitals have all come under attack. Working to provide life-saving support, UNICEF uses money donated to it's appeal to supply vulnerable children and their families with healthcare, education, shelter, protection, water and sanitation.
