The Carham Shoot
Set in over 2,300 acres of varied, rolling farmland which straddles the Border, the Carham shoot includes approximately 150 acres of woodland stretching back over three miles from the River Tweed. From a skeleton of larger woods, the shoot has grown over the years through a network of smaller coverts and the odd game strip designed to take advantage of the contours. The open character of the countryside gives the wind every opportunity to play a part. The shoot is based on pheasants, all home-reared or wild, with occasional guest appearances from wild partridges.
The shooting element of the package is entirely flexible. The indicative price includes 2 days shooting for 6 to 9 guns based on 200 bird days. Guests may prefer large days or a smaller second day ending up with a wild duck flight. A third day's shooting either before or after the fishing dates is also a possibility. Shoot lunch is provided in the farmhouse.
Guide price for two 200 bird days £12,000 inc VAT
