Laurie Campbell has had almost forty years experience in photographing Scotland’s natural landscape and wildlife and became Scotland’s first full-time freelance nature photographer in 1984.
His imagery is widely published across a range of media, he writes regularly for national magazine titles, and he has won twenty-three awards under the prestigious ‘BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year’.
He has also authored a number of books including his most recent publication ‘Otters - A Return to the River’ which offers a vivid portrait of the lives of these elusive predators on the River Tweed and its tributaries near to his Berwickshire home.
From his base in the village of Paxton, Laurie is extremely well qualified to teach photography to both beginners and more experienced photographers alike. He can offer bespoke nature photography workshop days in the field for individuals and small groups of up to four people throughout the year.
So if you are visiting the area and would be interested in booking a day or more with Laurie to photograph anything from landscapes, birds, mammals or plants then please contact him for details.
